Curling my lashes
I’ll overlook the fact that NOBODY smiles when they’re curling their lashes, because I am now a eyelash curler convert.
For me, an eyelash curler is something I’ve always had but never used. They always pinch my eyelids and don’t make any difference, or so I thought until I watched this video from one of my favorite YouTubers: GlamLifeGuru “Thicker & Longer Looking Lashes“. Her simple tip? Hold the eyelash curler for about 10 seconds.
But, seriously? Why didn’t I think about carefully placing the eyelash curler on my lashes and holding for longer than a second? Needless to say, that advice made all the difference. Now, my lashes look noticeably more curly and longer when followed up with my favorite mascara, Covergirl Lash Blast.
Attempting the regalness of an updo (High five to you if you know the reference. If not, here it is.)
This is the hairstyle I haphazardly curled together on my sister for my cousin’s wedding this past weekend. Looks messy in the picture, but in person, there were delicate tendrils of sun-highlighted hair intermingled with expertly-placed bobby pins. Or so I’d like to think 
I acquired a Pinterest account about three months ago, and I am slowly becoming a die-hard pinner who commonly uses the phrase “Hmm…very pin-teresting.”
Recipes, quotes, hair/beauty tips and hilarious memes are my favorites. There’s just something about organized boards of pictures that makes me feel more organized in my life.

hmmm very pinteresting … I love it. The hair is pretty and I am the same way as you used to be. I have eye lash curler but never use it. I really don’t think it does anything for me and I’ve held a lot longer than a second.

You seriously should! And now I’m wondering how many “bad” mascaras I’ve thrown away because they “didn’t work” but might have worked so much better if I knew about the lash curling trick! Thanks for the comment
